Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) is extending the reach of its Paulsens Project, adding around 460 more square kilometres to the tenure through this week’s acquisitions of the Cheela, Silent Sisters, and New Morning tenements.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

Cheela cost $200,000 to pick up from Cazaly Resources (ASX:CAZ), hosts rock chips up to 32.32% Cu, and carries three untested bedrock EM conductors.

Silent Sisters was $170K; the buyer wasn’t detailed in Black Cat’s release.

New Morning was recently pegged, covering a geochemical anomaly near Cheela.

Together, these three tenements go a long way to seeing “Big Sarah get bigger,” as the Australian miner described in an ASX press release today.

“We’re excited to be adding to our prospective tenure with three new tenements straddling known gold-bearing structures,” Black Cat MD Gareth Solly declared.

When brought into the fold, the three create a “strategically important” position around the highly prospective Big Sarah area. Black Cat now has a tenure of around 2,722km² in the Barring Downs and Nanjilgardy fault zones.

Work has already begun in the areas, too, Mr Solly said. “The exploration team has been busy conducting reconnaissance work around Big Sarah and has identified three laterally extensive vein corridors with strike extent up to 15 kilometres, including a four-kilometre-long zone of undrilled gold anomalism.”

Each corridor has multiple sub-parallel quartz-oxide veins up to one metre wide.

With these three distinct corridors in their sights, the Black Cat ground team expects to get drilling underway at the newly-acquired tenements – and across the wider Big Sarah prospect – by early September.

BC8 is selling at 78cps in Thursday morning trade.
