New samples yielded substantial grade increases at key prospects Forrest and Canyon, giving the Australian explorer a stronger definition of the mineralised zones at Miriam and suggesting Future Battery is on the right track.

The return of single metre assays from the RC campaign “further evidences the success of FBM’s initial gold exploration strategy,” the company wrote today.

At Forrest, assays from one hole returned 33 metres at 2.8 grams per tonne gold from 35 metres, including 12 metres at 4.39g/t gold from 35 metres; a 78% increase in grade compared to previous reporting.

And close by at Canyon, results came in headlined by 19 metres at 0.92g/t gold from 28 metres, including three metres at 3.28g/t gold from 43 metres.

“We now have greater confidence in previous Phase One results and additional insights into the scale of opportunity awaiting us at Forrest and Canyon,” Future Battery helmsman Nick Rathjen declared on Monday.

“These new Miriam sampling results have significantly upgraded several key Phase One intercepts, including the previous standout Forrest intercept.”

These hits close out FBM’s first phase; the next has already been completed, too, with RC drilling in Phase Two covering up to 35 drill holes across 3,700 metres in Miriam’s Forrest, Forrest South, and Canyon prospects. HotCopper understands those assay results are expected to return in early to mid-November.

Today, FBM has been selling a 4cps. The company’s up +122% YTD.
