The ASX has been up 0.45% at 7,783 points, breaking its losing streak on the back of a rally in gold stocks.
Materials has been the best performing sector, up 1.85%, followed by Utilities, up 1.4%, and Industrials, up 0.7%.
Energy has been the worst performing sector, down 0.9%, followed by Telecommunication, down 0.33%, and Information Technology, down 0.25%.
Race Oncology (ASX:RAC) has been the most watched on HotCopper forums today. The company received ethics approval for its Phase 1 trial in adult solid tumour patients.
Also trending Tivan (ASX:TIV) has been awarded copper-gold exploration licences in Timor-Leste.
Rounding out the most discussed was Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR) after it released its half year results. The company has maintained a strong cash position with $193 million at bank.
