Technology stock 4DS Memory (4DS) was in the green this morning following another US patent grant.

This new patent grant is for resistive memory devices containing a template layer and marks the company’s 31st grant in the US.

Notably, all 31 grants are 100 per cent owned by 4DS and are free from any royalty and or licensing obligations.

4DS is a semiconductor development company and with research and development facilities in Silicon Valley California.

The company is pioneering non-volatile Interface Switching ReRAM for high-density high-volume storage class memory.

Last week, the technology stock received two sets of wafers from its research and development partner, imec.

Amongst the wafers received are those needed for the company’s Second Platform Lot and the Third Non-Platform Lot, an analysis of both sets is currently underway.

4DS is planning to report the results from the analysis once they’ve been finalised with imec.

On the market this morning, 4DS is up 3.45 per cent and is trading at 15 cents per share at 10:10 am AEST.
