Australian exploration company 92 Energy (92E) has commenced drilling at its wholly-owned Gemini uranium discovery in Canada’s Athabasca Basin.
Two diamond drill rigs are currently onsite, initiating a 4000-metre drilling program.
One of these rigs has been allocated to the Gemini mineralised zone – with an objective to expand the extensive, high-grade mineralisation found in the zone into previously unexplored territories north and south of the primary discovery area.
The second drill rig will be actively exploring high-priority areas along the Gemini uranium discovery trend.
The drilling campaign is expected to run until the end of September.
92E was last trading at 31 cents.
