92 Energy (92E) has completed a survey over the Gemini and Tower projects in the Athabasca Basin in Canada.

The versatile time domain electromagnetic (VTEM) survey aimed to map conductive graphitic rocks that may host high-grade, unconformity-type uranium. It also aimed to define targets for future drilling.

Preliminary results have identified two prospective conductors at the Tower Project and two on the northern part of the Gemini Project.

These initial observations support previous results from the southern portion of Gemini which also outlined prospective conductors — some of which are currently being drilled.

While final geophysical data is yet to be processed and received, identifying multiple prospective conductors shows the prospective nature of Tower and the northern portion of Gemini.

Once the company has received the final data, it will define targets for drilling.

92 Energy has also announced it is expanding its management team. As part of this, current exploration and geology consultant, Steven Blower, has been appointed interim Vice President for Exploration.

Exploration Manager Andy Wilde, is departing the role but will continue providing consulting services throughout the remainder of this season’s drill program.

Company shares are up 8.7 per cent to trade at 25 cents at 2:12 pm AEST.
