92 Energy (92E) has received the final uranium results from the winter drill program at the Gemini project in Canada.

The winter drilling program began in February to follow up on the uranium discovery made during 92 Energy’s initial drill program at the Gemini Mineralised Zone (GMZ).

A second rig focused on other high-priority targets which included a 1.8-kilometre-long trend north of the GMZ and previous drill locations at Camp West and Wilfried.

Drilling was completed in April and of the 12 holes drilled, nine intersected uranium mineralisation.

The samples were then submitted to the SRC Geoanalytical laboratory in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Best results come from GEM22-006 which intersected 0.25 per cent uranium oxide between 229 and 237 metres and 0.14 per cent uranium oxide between 239.5 and 244.5 metres including 0.78 per cent uranium oxide between 233.5 and 234.5 metres.

Results also came from GEM22-013 which intersected 0.17 per cent uranium oxide between 160.5 and 163 metres.

“We continue to vector in on a significant new discovery at the GMZ, with results reported
during the ongoing summer 2022 drill program returning thicker and higher grade
mineralisation,” Managing Director Siobhan Lancaster said,

The summer drilling program is currently underway at Gemini with updates to be made as work progresses.

Shares in 92 Energy ended the day trading steady at 42 cents each.
