- Student management software provider ReadyTech (RDY) has signed a contract with Victorian TAFEs
- The $7 million deal will see the company supply its program, JR Plus, to Bendigo TAFE and the Kangan Institute
- Once fully implemented, roughly 40,000 students and 800 staff will use the program across 10 campuses in Victoria
- ReadyTech expects to receive revenue from the contract in the fourth quarter of 2020 financial year
- ReadyTech’s share price is remaining flat today, with share trading for $1.74 each
Student management software provider ReadyTech (RDY) has secured a new contract with Victorian TAFE provider Bendigo Kangan Institute.
Once the contract terms are fully implemented, ReadyTech’s program, JR Plus, will manage roughly 40,000 students across 10 campuses in Victoria, and be used by over 800 staff.
The program will be used to assist from the enrolment process to graduation.
“ReadyTech is the home of cloud-based student management system JR Plus, a purpose built system to support the complex and evolving needs of Australia’s enterprise-level tertiary education providers,” company CEO Marc Washbourne said.
The contract is worth $7 million, including an initial five-year software subscription. The company expects it will first receive revenue from this deal in the fourth quarter of the 2020 financial year.
Commenting of the application of JR Plus, CEO of the Bendigo TAFE and Kangan Institute Sally Curtain explained it will transform the student experience.
“The implementation of JR Plus is an important part of our student journey transformation to improve and transform the student experience, staff practices and processes and improve governance and compliance across both TAFEs,” Sally said.
ReadyTech’s share price is remaining flat today, with share trading for $1.74 each.
