Rumble Resources (RTR) has identified multiple high-grade gold shoots at its Western Queen Gold Project.

The company recently completed a second stage reverse circulation and diamond drilling program at the West Australian project. The two stages of drilling have been successful in finding high-grade gold discoveries.

Rumble now has six high-grade gold zones and targets that have been outlined, which has provided the company with confidence in providing new, near-term high-grade gold discoveries.

The gold zones

At the Western Queen Central- high-grade gold shoot, a drill intercept has clipped the top of the high-grade gold shoot at a depth of 4.7 metres at 6.06g/t of gold from 48.5 metres. The two stages of drilling have confirmed the continuity of high-grade gold down-plunge.

At Western Queen Central North, Rumble found shallow high-grade gold 250 metres north of the historic Western Queen Central open-cut drilling. Results included eight metres at 7.22g/t of gold from 49 metres.

North of the Western Queen Central, multiple historic high-grade zones include seven metres at 60.6g/t of gold from 70 metres and six metres at 37.34g/t of gold from 50 metres.

Drilling at Western Princess has shown that the shear zone is wide with multiple structurally controlled shoots. Rumble believes there is a high potential to define deeper plunging shoots. Results include five metres at 3.64g/t of gold from 52 metres.

At Western Queen Central Oxide, Rumble interpretation drilling clipped high-grade shoot at depth. Results include two metres at 40.37 g/t of gold from four metres.

Finally, at the Cranes zone, there is potential to define high-grade shoot below the laterite mineralisation. Results from this intercept include 14 metres at 4.87 g/t of gold from surface.

What now?

Managing Director Shane Sikora said its initial assessment of the Western Queen Gold Project recognised the potential for multiple new high-grade gold discoveries.

“To deliver the best chance of realising the potential of the project, Rumble implemented a geophysics and drilling strategy over two stages to scope out the
prospectivity of the Project,” he said.

“These two stages have been successful in significantly upgrading the Project by identifying the potential for multiple shallow high-grade gold shoots across the entire project. This has led to a better geological understanding of the system for more effective targeting methods,” he added.

A drilling program has been fast-tracked and includes RC and diamond core drilling, targeting the six high-grade gold shoots. The drilling will commence in June.

Rumble is up 1.43 per cent on the market today, trading for 7.1 cents per share.
