Davenport Resources (DAV) has appointed Cenkos Securities as its U.K. broker, as it progresses the development of its European potash projects.

Cenkos will help with strengthening the company’s investor base, specifically increasing its exposure to the United Kingdom and continental European institutional investors.

Interim Non-Executive Chairman Dr. Reinout Koopmans is pleased to have Cenkos as Davenport’s broker.

“Cenkos has a tremendous franchise in small and mid-cap companies and deep expertise in junior mining stocks,” he said.

“For Davenport, this is an important milestone in its effort to expand investor appeal beyond its strong traditional support from Australian investors,” he added.

Davenport has four standalone potash projects in the South Harz region of Germany and has completed technical studies for three of those projects.

The appointment of the U.K broker, follows the recent Board changes and is the latest step in the company’s work to ensure it is in the best position to access European investors.

On market close, Davenport remains steady and is selling shares for 4.4 cents each.
