Wellness and Beauty Solutions (WNB) has received the first purchase orders for its ELLE beauty range and MICRO19 in Asia.

It comes not long after WNB signed an exclusive agency agreement with Thurston Agencies.

The orders were worth a total of $1.1 million and were received by the company’s subsidiary, The Giving Brands Company (GBCo).

The purchase orders include products from its four brands — ELLE Makeup, ELLE kids, ELLE Baby, and MICRO19. These products were sold in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.

However, government registration is needed for all products prior to their import and sale, which is in line with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Cosmetic Directive. GBCo has commenced this registration process, which is expected to be complete by the second quarter of 2021.

Last week, Wellness and Beauty said it has enough ELLE Makeup stock on hand for the first order, and will now start manufacturing more ELLE Kids, ELLE Baby and MICRO19 products to meet the new shipment demand.

Wellness and Beauty says the ELLE kids, ELLE Baby and MICRO19 ranges are genuine and Australian-made, which has garnered strong interest in Asia due to their high quality.

“We are pleased to receive the first order for our ELLE and MICRO19 ranges for sale in the very important Asia market,” Managing Director Christine Parkes said.

“This initial order provides a sound platform that will be used to build our Australian-created brands by opening in Asia in the short term, with further expansion for international markets in the medium to long term,” she added.

On the market today, Wellness and Beauty remains steady, selling shares for 0.8 cents each at 10:18 am AEST.
