- Volt’s geology team has commenced field activities in the Monebo and Nzima permits, within the Mandiana Project
- These activities included site visits, mapping of artisanal workings and a collection of grab samples
- Meanwhile, in Konsolon, the company has undertaken a review from previous soil and grabs sampling geochemistry results
- Volt is currently awaiting results from both projects and will commence further drilling programs once received

Volt Resources (VRC) has updated the market on its Mandiana and Konsolon gold projects, which are part of the West African Birimian Gold Belt in Guinea.
Mandiana Project
Volt’s geology team has commenced field activities in the Monebo and Nzima permits, within the Mandiana Project. These activities included site visits, mapping of artisanal workings and a collection of grab samples.
The company collected 90 grab samples from across the permits and samples have been sent to Mali for analysis.
Once the company receives the results, it will then plan a systematic auger drilling geochemical sampling program to find initial drill targets.
Konsolon Projects
Volt has undertaken a review from previous soil and grabs sampling geochemistry results at the Konsolon. Multiple gold in soil anomalies were found between one and 1.5 kilometres in length across the permit.
Results from this include 20.25 grams per tonne and 2.87 grams per tonne of gold.
The company will now undertake additional reconnaissance grab sampling, it will then plan an auger geochemistry program to find gold targets for drilling.
On the market this morning, Volt is up 5.26 per cent and is selling shares for two cents each at 10:52 am AEST.
