Sustainable and eco-friendly bioplastics developer SECOS Group (SES) will relocate its head office and has established a new technical centre.

The company has relocated its corporate office to Hawthorn, Victoria and the new technical centre will be situated in Deer Park, Victoria.

The new relocation represents a costs savings of around $140,000 per annum. The savings will be used on high-value marketing initiatives that will support long-term strategic growth opportunities for the business.

Just yesterday, SECOS signed a deal with Woolworths (WOW) to have two of its certified compostable bin liners sold in-store at the supermarket.

The two bags are the eight-litre Kitchen Caddy Bag and 36-litre Bin Liner and will be sold in 86 Woolworths stores.

SECOS aims to replace plastic bags with compostable options, which will reduce greenhouse emissions and turn food waste into fertile mulch.
