China-Australia trade specialist Jatcorp (JAT) has provided an update on the development of its in-house products and brands.

The product has been dubbed the Jinvigorate Diabetic Formula, which will provide nutritional support for people with diabetes.

The product will be manufactured at JAT’s ANMA facility in Melbourne and will be distributed throughout Australia.

Sales expansion to Taiwan and Vietnam

The company has received first orders of children’s goat milk powder from Taiwan. The orders are valued at a total of $354,000 and are being filled at the ANMA facility.

ANMA has also received its first order from Vietnam for formulated milk powder in 300g cans and lactoferrin in 60g cans. This orders will generate $60,000 in sales revenue.

While both orders are on a smaller scale, JAT expects to grow sales in Taiwan and Vietnam in the near future. Building on this, JAT has begun promotional work in Malaysia and expects to secure sales shortly.

Shengding distribution agreement

In addition, JAT has developed a product under a new brand. This product is called the “Moroka Formulated Milk Powder with Lactoferrin”.

JAT has entered a two-year agreement with Shengding which will grant Shengding the exclusive right to distribute the formula into supermarkets and new concept retail chains such as Hema Supermarket and 7Fresh, across China.

Shengding will also assist the company to distribute other products which are currently being developed.

Specifically, Shengding has agreed to purchase 100,000 tins of JAT’s products in the first 12 months of the agreement.

Company shares remain in the grey, trading for 2.4 cents just before midday trade.
