Kin Mining (KIN) has received new assay results from recent reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling at the Cardinia Hill Prospect.

Cardinia Hill is part of the Cardinia Gold Project which lies 10 kilometres southeast of Leonora in Western Australia.

Drilling was undertaken to define the southern extent of surface mineralisation at the prospect and to confirm the continuity between the southern and northern shoots.

This drilling program successfully extended the overall strike length of mineralisation at Cardinia Hill to more than 700 metres.

The first diamond holes have returned high-grade gold, confirming the continuity of high-grade mineralisation.

Results include 5.4 metres at 6.18g/t gold from 186.4 metres, 5.3 metres at 3.31g/t gold from 96 metres, and 31.9 metres at 1.20g/t gold from 83.3 metres.

These results have improved Kin Mining’s understanding of the geology and sulphide zones at Cardinia.

Further, the results confirm the extension of the mineralisation at Cardinia Hill at depth and confirm the continuity between the southern and northern shoots.

“Diamond drilling is continuing to deliver excellent results at Cardinia Hill, with high-grade gold associated with the pyrite mineralisation intersected at depth in the southern shoot and strong intersections also achieved within the northern shoot,” Managing Director Andrew Munckton said.

“This highlights the potential for good continuity of the mineralisation, with an improving grade profile at depth within the recently completed resource drill-out,” he added.

Kin Mining is now waiting on assay results for a further 18 RC holes and five diamond holes. Results are expected in the upcoming weeks.

The company is also undertaking RC drilling at the Lewis East Prospect and aircore drilling at the Iron King Prospect.

Kin Mining has ended the day 12.2 per cent in the green with shares trading for 23 cents each in a $143.4 million market cap.
