  • AppsVillage (APV) has signed an agreement with TikTok (Singapore) that will enable its small and medium business (SMB) customers to advertise on the app
  • Under the initial one-year agreement, AppsVillage will expand its advertising manager Jarvis to the video-sharing social media platform
  • This will allow AppsVillage’s 4500 SMB customers to create advertising and promotional campaigns within minutes using the software

AppsVillage (APV) has signed an agreement with TikTok (Singapore) that will enable its small and medium business (SMB) customers to advertise on the app.

The software as a service provider will expand its advertising manager Jarvis to the video-sharing social media platform for an initial one year-term.

At present, TikTok has 500 million users globally and was the most downloaded app in the world in August 2020.

Once implemented, AppsVillage’s 4500 SMB customers will be able to create advertising and promotional campaigns within minutes for TikTok using the software.

AppsVillage will charge an advertising fee to the customer and in turn, pay a fee to TikTok.

The company anticipates that over time the new partnership will generate material revenue.

Shares have been trading 77.1 per cent higher at 17 cents at 2:15 pm AEDT.
