Pursuit Minerals (PUR) will soon begin an airborne electromagnetic (AEM) survey over four exploration licences at the Warrior PGE-Nickel-Copper Project in WA.

The AEM survey will cover 1715 kilometres over the Calingiri East, Calingiri West, Wubin and Wubin South tenements.

The survey is searching for electromagnetic (EM) conductors, which could highlight PGE-nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation associated with mafic and ultramafic intrusions.

Notably, these rock types host the mineralisation at Chalice Mining’s (CHN) Gonneville deposit at its Julimar Project.

Pursuit is using the AEM survey method to detect EM conductors following the success other explorers, such as Chalice, Caspin Resources (CPN) and DevEx Resources (DEV), have had.

Importantly, Caspin has recently identified multiple, high-quality anomalies at its tenement, which sits adjacent to and immediately north of Pursuit’s Calingiri West tenement.

Pursuit only acquired the Warrior Project in December last year and is pleased to already be conducting exploration.

“Being able to undertake such a critical part of the exploration process such as flying the AEM survey, two months after acquisition of the Warrior Project, shows how swiftly we are progressing the project towards our maiden drilling program,” Managing Director Mark Freeman said.

The AEM survey will begin next week and will be completed early next month. Once data has been received, Pursuit will generate priority targets for drilling later this year.

Pursuit is up 10.3 per cent and shares are trading at 3.2 cents at 12:38 pm AEDT.
