Yandal Resources (YRL) has received results from reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Flinders Park, Quarter Moon and Oblique prospects.

These prospects are part of Yandal’s Ironstone Well Gold Project in Western Australia.

Drilling aimed to expand mineralisation at Flinders Park and confirm historical mineralisation at the Oblique and Quarter Moon prospects. This work will support a major drilling program planned for later this year.

Flinders Peak

Two of the three holes drilled at Flinders Park returned significant shallow oxide mineralisation and defined anomalous gold over a 1.6-kilometre strike.

Results include 14 metres at 4.39g/t gold from 45 metres including one metre at 42.47g/t gold from 52 metres and 13 metres at 2.9g/t gold from 36 metres including one metre at 21.05g/t gold from 36 metres.

The ASX-lister will conduct drilling along strike and at depth to explore the source and extent of widespread gold.

Quarter Moon

All six holes drilled at Quarter Moon returned significant mineralisation to a 110-metre downhole depth.

Best results include two metres at 11.17g/t gold from 80 metres including one metre at 10.87g/t gold from 80 metres and one metre at 11.47g/t gold from 81 metres, and 12 metres at 2.05g/t gold from five metres including one metre at 16.47g/t gold from eight metres.

Further drilling will be carried out to extend the one-kilometre-long strike length of mineralisation which is open in all directions.

Oblique

The last two holes drilled at the Oblique prospect also returned significant mineralisation.

The best results include 21 metres at 0.9g/t gold from 51 metres including four metres at 1.87g/t gold from 68 metres to end-of-hole and three metres at 0.23g/t gold from 84 metres to end-of-hole.

Additional drilling will also target mineralisation at the Oblique prospect.

YRL ended the day 3.41 per cent in the green with shares closing at 45.5 cents.
