The Food Revolution Group’s (FOD) ‘wellness shots’ are now available in over 1000 grocery stores across Australia.

Earlier this month, the health and wellness company launched its plant-based all-natural range, which includes three Juice Lab Super Shots labelled Focus, Immunity and Digest.

Coles took on the product and FOD says the supermarket has “exceeded expectations” after four weeks on the shelves.

CEO Tony Rowlinson said the Coles team “have done a good job meeting the increased demand.”

Now, Australia’s largest supermarket chain, Woolworths (WOW), has signed on the range, with the drink expected to be available to customers in May.

The CEO commented that having Woolworths onboard is a “fantastic outcome”.

Further, Metcash (MTS) has also accepted the range to be sold at its retailers, Foodland & Ritchies next month and allocation to be provided for all other IGA stores.

Over in South Australia, Drakes Supermarkets have agreed to add the range to its stores and Distribution Centre.

Touting the benefits of the juice shots, Tony Rowlinson said, “consumers globally are seeking products that deliver against immunity and provide functional benefits due to COVID-19.”

Consequently, he believes the company is well-positioned to meet this demand with its extended range of wellness beverages and carbonated drinks to be rolled out into the market soon.

Shares are 10.8 per cent higher at 4.1 cents each at 11:14 am AEDT.
