Prospech (PRS) has commenced drilling at the Krakauer vein prospect within the Nova Bana Project in Slovakia.

The company has been planning the drilling the area for over a year now but was delayed due to COVID-19.

Drilling at the prospect will include six initial holes that will target shallow to intermediate depth, searching for silver and gold mineralisation.

Previous rock chip sampling assays included up to 283g/t of gold and 1700g/t of silver.

Managing Director Jason Becton is pleased to commence drilling at the prospect.

“The Krakauer prospect within the Nova Bana project has been in the planning stages for over a year but commencement of drilling was delayed due to Covid-19. Drilling of this exciting target underlines our ongoing strategy of continuously testing high grade gold-silver targets,” he said.

“Additionally, further drill core samples from Prospech’s eastern Slovakian silver discovery, Zemplin, are currently being analysed with further results to be announced in the coming weeks. A follow-updrilling program is being planned, including deeper holes to test the core of the Zemplin epithermal system,” he explained.

On the market this morning, Prospech is up 3.70 per cent and is trading at 14 cents per share at 11:24 am AEST.
