Red River Resources (RVR) has identified multiple large silver indium targets at its Orient Project in North Queensland.

The company recently completed a 14 square kilometre drone magnetic survey and six lines of induced polarisation (IP) geophysical surveying.

The drone survey and three lines of the IP survey were completed using a grant awarded under the Queensland Geological Survey Collaborative Exploration Initiative.

The aim of these surveys was to map and target mineralised structures as well as help in targeting for future exploration drilling.

Data has highlighted the northeast trend of the known mineralisation at the Orient West Deposit which now continues a further 1.6 kilometres to the east.

Additionally, the surveys also identified a large magnetic feature to the south of Orient West that may represent a buried intrusion complex.

Furthermore, one of these targets lies close to a historic hole which intersected 75 metres at 38g/t silver from 15 metres including four metres at 154g/t silver, 20g/t indium, 3.3 per cent lead and 2.2 per cent zinc from 36 metres.

Subject to rig availability, Red River will now undertake ground truthing and drill testing before the wet season begins.

Shares in Red River were up 2.44 per cent and trading at 21 cents at 11:26 am AEST.
