Pursuit Minerals (PUR) has commenced its drilling program at the Phil’s Hill prospect in Western Australia.

The program includes 1500 metres of diamond drilling and is expected to take around eight weeks to complete.

Drilling will initially target the moving loop electromagnetic plate 20a. The first hole is expected to reach a total depth of 200 metres and will take around seven days to drill.

Additionally, the company has purchased a portable X-ray Fluorescence device unit that will speed up the assaying process in Perth.

The company has appointed independent consultants, CSA Global, to create a consistent geochemical protocol for Pursuit’s field crews to follow whilst collecting data on drill core.

Once these holes have been completed, the company will follow up with downhole electromagnetic surveys.
