Anson Resources (ASN) has released the final results of the long-term cycling test work carried out by NOVONIX Battery Technology Solutions.

The test work is for the production of NMC622-based lithium-ion battery test cells using
samples of Anson’s high purity lithium products extracted from its Paradox Lithium Bromine Project in Utah, USA.

The testing took place at 40 degrees celsius over three months as the batteries were cycled 300 times.

Anson’s lithium carbonate showed slightly better performance than the existing commercial products in the long-term test work.

While the company’s lithium hydroxide showed similar performance to existing commercial products in long-term cycle experiments.

Results from the test work will be shared with potential off-take partners and end-users.

The Paradox Project covers a total area of 95 square kilometres and is located on Tesla’s doorstep in the US.

Shares in Anson Resources are up 15 per cent to 11.5 cents at 10:10 am AEDT.
