Trigg Mining (TMG) has appointed Salina Michels as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary, effective immediately.

She will be replacing Karen Logan who has resigned but did not state why.

Ms Michels is highly experienced in the senior finance leadership sector, having held a variety of roles across junior and major oil and gas companies throughout Australia.

Prior to joining Trigg, she was a Financial Controller within Santos’ (STO) West Australian division, Corporate Accounting Manager for Quadrant Energy, and Financial Controller and Company Secretary for Strike Energy (STX).

Managing Director Keren Paterson commented on Ms Michels appointment.

“She [Ms Michels] brings a wealth of experience in corporate finance, management and governance at senior levels of major oil and gas, mining and agricultural groups in Australia and is an outstanding and complementary addition to our growing leadership team,” Ms Parterson said.

“We are very pleased to have her on board as we move to the next stage of developing our flagship Lake Throssell Sulphate of Potash Project in WA, with a clear strategic focus to unlock its considerable value for our shareholders.”

Trigg has ended the day 15.8 per cent in the green with shares trading at 11 cents in an $11.08 million market cap.
