SenSen Networks (SNS) has been awarded a multi-year contract with Sunshine Coast Regional Council to deploy its sensor AI automated parking enforcement solutions.

Commencing in January next year, SenSen will provide one mobile parking enforcement unit along with associated software and services.

The company will earn upfront revenue for the systems, software and commissioning of the unit.

Additionally, SenSen will acquire annual recurring revenues and fees for the software licence, maintenance and support services under the three-year contract term.

The Sunshine Coast Regional Council covers over 4000 kilometres of roads and a population of more than 35,000.

SenSen Networks CEO Subhash Challa welcomed the new contract.

“We are excited to add the Sunshine Coast Regional Council to the growing number of Queensland council customers who use SenSen’s patented AI sensor systems to keep roads safe and congestion free,” Mr Challa said.

Company shares are in the green up 4.8 per cent to trade at 11 cents each at 2:11 pm AEDT.
