A reverse circulation (RC) drill rig is now at Twenty Seven’s (TSC) Rover gold project located near Sandstone in Western Australia

The RC drilling program aims to complete a 2000-metre RC drill series, targeting the highly prospective Blue Hills, Four Corners, Harmonic and Creasy 1 prospects.

Drilling is expected to finish in roughly two weeks with initial assays due in the first quarter of 2022.

The RC series has been designed to test the bedrock geochemical signatures identified from the most recent gold-in-soil sampling.

Twenty Seven has planned for six holes to extend the known mineralisation previously found at Harmonic and Creasy 1.

TSC informed the market of soil samples earlier this week, stating that the gold grades peaked at 420 parts per billion (ppb) of gold, with multiple others returning more than 10ppb gold.

“We are very excited to be getting this program underway as we are eager to test several of the largest and highest magnitude gold-in-soil anomalies defined within our Rover Project to date,” CEO Simon Phillips said.

“Our plan is to extend the previously-defined gold system at Harmonic and Creasy, both to further increase the overall prospectivity of the project and to better understand the size and potential scale of the mineralised gold system.

“This drilling program is an important step in the process, and we look forward to reporting outcomes as soon as possible in the new year.”

Twenty Seven shares were up 12.5 per cent and were trading at 0.5 cents apiece at 11:02 am AEDT.
