King River has been granted six out of eight exploration licences at its Mt Remarkable Gold Project.

The licences cover a primary strike extension of the Whitewater Volcanics that contains high-grade gold mineralisation.

The new licenses will be under the name Speewah Mining who are a subsidiary of King River.

The Mt Remarkable Gold Project is located 200 kilometres south west of Kununurra in the East Kimberley of Western Australia and is 100 per cent owned by King River.

Mt Remarkable is nearly 3000 square kilometres and hosts high-grade, near surface gold mineralisation with a result of 4 metres at 113.29 g/t gold including 1 metre at 346 g/t gold.

The total area of these exploration licences now measures 2300 square kilometres.

Reverse circulation drilling is planned to commence in October/November 2019 which will follow up on the high-grade gold intersections.

King River will use knowledge and experience gained from gold exploration at Mt Remarkable and Speewah Projects to help identify and test high-grade gold targets.

The company will also advance its existing prospects around Mt Remarkable.

King River has gained 6.90 per cent today and is selling at 3.1¢ per share.
