M3 Mining (M3M) has completed the maiden Reverse Circulation (RC) drill program on its Victoria Bore Property in Australia.

The drill program covered a total of 1200 metres and targeted both existing historical workings and untested FLEM geophysical targets.

The Perth-based company has now started a downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) survey at the property, located in Western Australia.

The survey aims to identify any conductive units in the area that potentially represent base metal sulphide mineralization.

“We are very pleased to have completed the maiden RC drill program at Victoria Bore before the New Year, having comprehensively tested the initial three high-priority targets,” Executive Director Simon Eley said.

“As we await the assay results, expected to be received in early Q1 CY2022, the Company has decided to immediately commence downhole EM surveys to refine our identified mineralisation targets. Downhole EM surveys have been key in discovering and delineating prospects globally and could provide a significant tool for drill hole targeting for a follow-up program in CY2022.”

The company continues to focus on the exploration and development of its copper and gold exploration portfolio. Its strategy is to apply a systematic approach to the assessment and prioritisation of its projects.

M3 Mining opened the day trading at $0.27.
