Artemis Resources (ARV) has released the third batch of results from a drilling program consisting of gold and copper intercepts from the Carlow East Zone in the Western Pilbara.

The company reported the 52-hole and approximately 14,000-metre reverse circulation drilling program intersected multiple high-grade zones of mineralisation which included the presence of cobalt.

Results included a thick interval of 20 metres at 2.06 grams of gold per tonne (g/t), 0.4 per cent copper and 0.25 per cent cobalt of particular interest.

Artemis claimed high-grade intercepts in the East Zone occur at depth and continue to define the mineralised shoots down-dip and outside the 2021 optimised pit shell.

According to the company, reinterpretation of the drilled areas has enabled it to plan drill targets with accuracy, with the majority of the targets intersecting mineralisation.

The company also said the recent program has added significant geological and analytical information that can be used in the next phase of drilling. A further three holes are still pending assays, with additional drill planning in progress to follow up the gold and copper results.

Shares last traded 12 per cent down on December 20 at 6.6 cents.
