White Rock Minerals (WRM) has intersected visible gold in multiple drill holes at the Dickenson South target in Victoria.

The Dickenson South target is part of the Morning Star gold mine, which is situated within White Rock’s Woods Point Gold Project.

White Rock’s primary objective at Morning Star is to identify and drill areas that have the potential to host multiple high-grade gold quartz reefs.

Surface diamond drilling began in late 2021 with seven holes, totalling 1466 metres, drilled to date.

This drilling tested the Age of Progress, Stacpoole, Exhibition, Shamrock, Dickenson and Whitelaw mineralised reefs.

Six holes were drilled at Age of Progress and Whitelaw with visible gold intersected in four of the holes.

Assays have also been received for five surface diamond holes with grades peaking at 51.40 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from Whitelaw. An additional 55 samples are awaiting assay.

The presence of visible gold continues to support the potential of a 150-metre southern extension of the reefs.

The drill rig has now moved to the south to continue testing Dickenson South with the first hole intersecting visible gold at the Dickenson Reef.

White Rock was up 2.17 per cent on the market with shares trading at 23.5 cents at 12:25 pm AEDT.
