Advanced technology company Dotz Nano (DTZ) has announced the resignation of its CEO and Executive Director Gideon Shmuel, effective September 30, 2022, for undisclosed reasons.

Mr Shmuel will no longer be involved in the day to day running of the company from today, but will assist in a smooth transition to new leadership, the company said.

Dotz Chairman Bernie Brookes said: “On behalf of the board I’d like to thank Gideon for supporting the company and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.”

The board of Dotz will assist Chief Financial Officer Guy Khavia in managing the business while a search for a new CEO is undertaken.

Australian-based independent director Garry Browne will continue to spend time in the company’s Israel headquarters during this interim period with fellow board members Kerry Harpaz and Doron Eldar also spending time in Israel to assist Mr Khavia in running the company.

The board has said it is searching for a new CEO with strong sales and marketing experience and a proven track record scaling technology businesses to profitability.

Nano Dotz is a technology leader in research, production and marketing of anti-counterfeiting, authentication and tracing solutions for numerous applications which include bio-imaging, liquids tagging, lubricants and DEF authentication and brand and reputation protection.

DTZ shares were down 1.39 per cent at 35.5 cents at 3.03pm AEST.
