Recharge Metals (REC) has received “encouraging” assay results from recent reverse circulation (RC) drilling undertaken at its Brandy Hill South project in Western Australia’s Murchison province.

The company completed a program of 20 RC drill holes totalling 3,374 metres at Brandy Hill South early this year.

Latest reported intersections came from three of the holes, which Recharge said encountered further copper mineralisation.

The pick of the copper hits was 23 metres grading 0.55 per cent copper from 48m including one metre at 1.04 per cent copper from 54m and 4m at 1.46 per cent copper from 62m.

Mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, according to the company.

Recharge recently commenced a diamond tail drilling program to deepen a trio of the RC holes.

“The results further validate the company’s view of the mineralisation fertility of the host rocks,” Managing Director Brett Wallace said.

Assays are pending for 13 RC holes and one of the recent diamond tails.

REC shares were down 15.6 per cent to 38 cents at 1:04 pm AEST.
