Junior explorer Golden Mile Resources (G88) has snapped up two extra exploration licences near its Yarrambee project in Western Australia’s Murchison region.

The company said it would buy the two exploration licences for just $5000, with a one-per-cent net smelter royalty to go to the seller. Meanwhile, Golden Mile has also applied for two additional exploration licences near Yarrambee.

The company plans to target lithium, tungsten, and gold through exploration in the new areas, with one of the licences zones home to mapped pegmatite and historical tungsten occurrences.

It should be noted, however, that Golden Mile has not visited the new areas and is subsequently yet to verify the field mapping or state geochemistry database samples in these areas.

As such, Golden Mile said it planned to complete a desktop study for the new licences over the coming weeks, with field reconnaissance scheduled for June.

The fieldwork will coincide with an upcoming drilling program planned at the Yarrambee project.

Shares in Golden Mile Resources were steady on the market to trade at 6.6 cents at market close.
