Health and wellness company Fiji Kava (FIJ) has launched three products from its tea range on Amazon USA.

The tea range is the first product to market and aligns with the company’s overall strategy of focussing on the US market and drinking formats.

Each serving contains a dose of kava as well as ingredients that support sleep, digestion, and immunity.

The company expects the global tea market to grow to US$104 billion (A$146 billion) by 2029. It is currently valued at US$58 billion.

Chief Executive Officer Anthony Noble said Amazon in the US has been a successful sales channel for other Fiji Kava products.

“Our marketing campaign in 2021 focussed on building awareness of the medical benefits of Noble Fijian Kava, for sleep, anti-anxiety and sports recovery,” he said.

“As we gain greater market access and build out new drinking formats, we will shift our focus to encouraging product trials from new consumers.”

“Tea represents an important pillar in driving consumer trials, as this format is well accepted by consumers and easy to use.”

Shares were trading 1.69 per cent lower today at 5.8 cents each at market close.
