Future Metals (FME) has appointed CEO Jardee Kininmonth as Managing Director, effective May 11.

Mr Kininmonth was appointed CEO of Future Metals on January 31, 2022, and prior to joining the company, he was Corporate Development Manager at Galaxy Resources.

He is an experienced corporate finance and mining professional with experience managing cross-functional teams and working with projects across the mining life cycle.

Mr Kininmonth holds tertiary qualifications in mining engineering and finance and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.

“Jardee’s appointment is a natural progression given his strong performance and leadership in the CEO role since joining Future Metals,” Chairman Justin Tremain said.

“He has contributed significantly in transitioning the company towards becoming a project developer through clearly defining the strategy and building out the team as the company works towards delivering an updated JORC mineral resource estimate for the Panton PGM project in the coming week.”

Future Metals has also appointed Tom O’Rourke as Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer to replace Aaron Bertolatti.

Mr O’Rourke is a qualified chartered accountant and will provide his services to FME under a consulting agreement with Grange Consulting Group.

Mr Bertolatti will remain on the Future Metals Board as a Non-Executive Director for a transitional period to ensure an orderly handover.

Shares in Future Metals were up 6.25 per cent and were trading at 17 cents at 3:51 pm AEST.
