Rebecca Shooter-Dodd has resigned as President and CEO of Revasum (RVS), effective immediately due to personal reasons.

Ms Shooter-Dodd has been a member of the company’s executive management team since its IPO in 2018, having roles of financial controller and Chief Financial Officer prior to President and CEO.

While she has resigned, Ms Shooter-Dodd will remain available to ensure corporate continuity and to assist in a smooth transition.

“Having been a member of the executive team since the company’s IPO, I am proud of the significant operational improvements we have achieved and the refocused strategy we now have in place to expedite the company’s move to becoming an industry leader in the semiconductor equipment sector,” Ms Shooter-Dodd said.

“Having reached this point as the company’s CEO and President, I feel it is now the time for me to focus on my personal life and new challenges having devoted a substantial amount of my career to Revasum.”

Effective immediately, Revasum’s Vice President of Engineering Bill Kalenian has been appointed interim CEO while a search for a more permanent candidate is underway.

Mr Kalenian has been with the company since 1995 and was appointed VP of Engineering in January 2017.

“Rebecca has provided strong leadership through an extraordinary period at Revasum. She has led the team through an unexpected industry slowdown, a pandemic, and industry-wide supply chain disruptions,” Chair Kevin Landis said.

Revasum was down 9.43 per cent with shares trading at 48 cents at 1:06 pm AEST.
