92 Energy’s (92E) technical team has arrived on site with drilling to begin at the Gemini project in Canada on June 10.

Drilling will be undertaken by Bryson Drilling and will utilise two rigs for an initial 6000 metres of diamond drilling.

Primary focus will be at the Gemini Mineralised Zone (GMZ) uranium discovery where the winter drilling program identified strong and thick intervals of uranium mineralisation.

The aim of this drilling is to expand the footprint of the uranium mineralisation with an emphasis on testing the strongest uranium mineralisation intersected to date.

Additionally, drilling will be undertaken at the GMZ Extension, Camp West and Wilfried exploration areas.

Previous drilling at the GMZ Extension intersected intense hydrothermal alteration and anomalous radioactivity while drilling at Camp West intersected faulted and altered sediments covered by a zone of intensely altered basement rocks.

At Wilfried, drilling will follow up on historical holes that displayed hydrothermal alteration and low levels of uranium mineralisation.

Shares in 92 Energy were down 3.51 per cent to $0.55 at the close of trading on Thursday.
