Okapi Resources (OKR) is set to begin its first diamond drilling program at its Enmore gold project in NSW in the next three weeks.

Around 1800 metres of diamond drilling will be undertaken to test the extensions of results from a previous reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Sunnyside prospect, where gold mineralisation is present for over 400 metres and remains open.

Previous RC drilling in 2021 intersected three metres at 8.86 grams per tonne (g/t) gold including one metre at 15.15 g/t gold from 172 metres.

This upcoming drilling program will also test the Sherwood prospect on the Bora Fault which reportedly remains one of the most interesting of the regional targets at the Enmore project.

Drilling at Sherwood will test beneath old workings and follow up on historical high-grade gold mineralisation which included results of up to 56.6 g/t gold.

Drilling will be undertaken by Resolution Drilling and it is expected to take between two to three months to complete.

Shares in Okapi ended the day trading flat at 26 cents.
