ClearVue Technologies (CPV) have signed a letter of intent to install its patent solar energy windows at a new office building in Atlanta, Georgia.

Under the agreement with LabReal, the company will use 250 square metres of the product in a new medical office and laboratory building located on Clairmont Road.

This is the first such commercial installation in North America by the company.

The new building is in the final planning stages with construction expected to start during the fourth quarter of 2022.

“ClearVue is the only company in the world that has a clear solar-glass product deployed and installed in the market,” ClearVue North American CEO Basil Karampelas siad.

“ClearVue’s electricity generating clear glazing technology is strategically positioned to complement and support the case for the increased use of energy efficient windows now being regulated in response to global climate change and energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction goals.”

LabReal President Vesa Plykkanen is pleased to be teaming up with ClearVue to use its window technology.

technology. We take energy efficiency and sustainability very seriously and the ClearVue
windows will advance our clean energy goals.”

ClearVue was up 1.82 and trading at 28 cents per share at market close.
