Brookside Energy (BRK) has begun multi-stage stimulation operations at its third well in the SWISH Area of Interest in Oklahoma, USA.

Producers Service Corp has now begun the multi-stage hydraulic stimulation of the Flames Well within the Anadarko Basin, with the first few stages pumped as per the company’s completion design.

Each stage will be treated individually before moving on, beginning at the toe of the well.

Brookside Managing Director David Prentice said the company is pleased with its current operations on the third and final well in the SWISH program.

“The team is extremely excited to see the potential of the Woodford Shale realised within this development unit, given the strong results to date from offsetting wells, including the Courbet Well, which is just three miles south of the Flames development unit,” Mr Prentice said.

Brookside said it anticipates this part of the completion operations will be wrapped up by the end of next week.

Brookside Energy was up 7.14 per cent, trading at 1.5 cents per share at 10:30 am AEST.
