Manhattan Corporation (MHC) has expanded its reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Tibooburra gold project in NSW.

Drilling has been undertaken at the New Bendigo, Silverton, Jeffery’s Flat and Pioneer targets.

New Bendigo

Diamond drilling began at New Bendigo on May 25 with previously drilled hole NB0107 re-entered as it was not drilled to depth due to a significant amount of water encountered.

To date, four diamond holes, for 731 metres, have been drilled with a focus on evaluating the higher-grade mineralisation.

Hole NBD0005 intersected visible gold that extends for around 20 centimetres and is associated with laminated quartz veining.

MHC believes this to be a significant milestone in understanding the controls of the mineralisation at New Bendigo.

Further, RC drilling resumed at the New Bendigo Main Zone on March 12 with a further 17 holes drilled to test the size and extent of the mineralised system.

Following significant delays, all results have now been received with a best result of 13 metres at 6.16 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 50 metres including three metres at 25.48 g/t gold from 51 metres.

Pioneer

While drilling has been limited at Pioneer, previous RC drilling returned significant gold including two metres at 14.72 g/t gold.

MHC drilled four RC holes to test the system at depth as well as a parallel lode that has not been previously drill tested.

Results include five metres at 6.96 g/t gold from 199 metres including one metre at 33.9 g/t gold from 199 metres.

When all results have been received, MHC will undertake additional drilling programs.

Jeffery’s Flat

Two RC holes were drilled at Jeffery’s Flat with sandstone and siltstone units intercepted.

Results are pending and will be reported on once available.

Silverton

Drilling at Silverton returned no significant gold mineralisation.

MHC was trading steady on the market at 0.7 cents at 12:34 pm AEST.
