Strike Resources has begun environmental assessment at its ‘Solaroz’ project. The lithium brine project is located in Argentina and spans 12,000 hectares.

A fieldwork program will be drafted as the company assesses baseline environmental impact data. The exploration component of assessment will include geophysical surveys, drilling, sampling and flow rate testing.

Strike Resources has also partnered with local mining company, Hanaq Argentina S.A and the Jujuy Mining Authority.

The environmental assessment will take place over the next two years and follows a successful meeting with Secretary of Mines of the Jujuy Province in Argentina.

The project is located in the valuable North-West Argentinian ‘Lithium Triangle,’ where the Strike Resources currently owns 90 percent interest in the project.

Brine projects operate on extracting element compounds which have naturally dissolved in brine.

Strike Resources currently operates projects in Queensland, Western Australia, and Peru. Local communities will also be consulted.
