Red Mountain Mining (RMX) has mobilised a reverse circulation drill rig to begin the phase two drilling campaign at its Mt Mansbridge project in Western Australia.

The project is situated in the Kimberly region of WA and is prospective for heavy rare earth elements and nickel cobalt mineralisation.

In addition to the rig, a five-member crew also arrived on site, with all personnel and logistics now confirmed to commence drilling.

Last month, the company reaffirmed its batter mineral targets at the Déjà vu, Solo and Cow Creek prospects during a field reconnaissance trip.

It has also completed all heritage surveys and earthworks to ensure efficient land access.

Non-Executive Chairman Troy Flannery said the company is excited to explore the project area.

“Now with access re-established, drill rig and field crew onsite, the company is excited to get on the ground and drill its battery mineral targets and further evaluate the prospectivity of Mt Mansbridge,” he said.

Shares in the company last traded at 0.6 cents each.
