Cann Global’s T12 Food Division has just signed an exclusive distributorship contract with EPCO Foods in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Under the distribution agreement, T12 will initially export 26 metric tonnes of Australian Grown Natural (AGN) Chia Seed products to EPCO Foods, which will be processed and shipped during September and October. After the first order, 20 metric tonnes will be exported on an ongoing monthly basis.

Products include 250 gram, 500 gram and one kilogram AGN Chia Seed satchels and bottles.

“We are delighted to be able to obtain an exclusive distributorship agreement with the Vietnamese Food Distributor, EPCO Foods Co Ltd. Over the past 5 years, T12’s management have been focusing on supplying quality produce to Vietnam and building a strong business relationship with EPCO,” Cann Global’s Food Division Corporate Head Eli Levy said.

Vietnam is currently experiencing economic growth and is a fast-emerging East Asian country which has very high standards and expectations on its imported foods.

EPCO Foods’ focus is on high-end Vietnamese-based grocery stores such as the Korean chain Lotte Supermarkets, French chain Big C Supermarkets, Eco Fruits and their own EPCO stores.

The distributorship with EPCO Foods follows from T12’s ongoing dedication to securing supply and distribution agreements with global and multinational food retailers.

The company’s aim is to become an Australian world leader in medicinal hemp products and other natural food products.

“This exclusive distributorship, to supply EPCO Foods, with premium quality ‘Australian Grown Natural’ Chia Seed, continues to be a perfect fit for T12’s business model which includes Australia and Asia,” Eli said.

On August 29, 2019, T12 secured an agreement with supermarket giant Costco, for the supply of its premium hemp oil daily capsules.

Cann Global Executive Chairperson Pnina Feldman is pleased with the company’s production infrastructure.

T12 food products are likely to become a “product of choice” for Australian and international food retailers.
