Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR) has successfully extended high-grade niobium mineralisation at the Green prospect in Western Australia to more than four kilometres of strike as it continues CY26 drilling.

Step out drilling Green, within the Aileron project, has identified high-grade mineralisation up to 1,000 metres east of the current mineral resource estimate.
Drilling on the eastern side of Green continues to intersect rare earth element-dominant mineralisation. “High-grade niobium mineralisation has now been intersected on 20 drill sections at Green with the body of mineralisation extending over 4km in strike,” Encounter’s executive chairman, Will Robinson, confirmed.
“The initial MRE, released in May 2025, covered the western part of the system based on drilling completed December 2024. An updated MRE is planned in the coming months incorporating the 2025 drilling.”
Encounter is accelerating activities at the prospect with metallurgical test work at Green, focusing onthe south-west and central areas where drilling has already shown consistent, thick high-grade zones of mineralisation. The company is also undertaking studies to accelerate project development plans.
“The additional REE results continue to support the potential for significant value-adding to the Green niobium deposit from these critical minerals,” Mr Robinson said.
He added: “The drilling at Green is still very broad, with drill sections 200m apart. The next phase of drilling at Green will close the drill spacing the [sic] define the highest-grade parts of the system. Field activity is commencing in coming weeks with infill drilling at Green to be underway at the start of April.”
An updated resource estimate is on track for release in Q2, while the first phase of specific REE targeted drilling scheduled to wrap up this year.
ENR is steady at 5.9c today.
