Welcome to HotCopper’s latest Watchlist, where we’ve this week been joined by Klevo Rewards (ASX:KLV) CEO Alexander Gold to talk about the company’s recent acquisition of an Australian-registered financial services license holder as it looks to expand the financial services ecosystem to Klevo’s userbase.

Listen to the HotCopper podcast for in-depth discussions and insights on all the biggest headlines from throughout the week. On Spotify, Apple, and more.

Speaking to HotCopper in Week 22, Mr Gold shared his early thoughts on the company’s latest step forward, especially when it comes to Fly Wallet.

“We’ve achieved close to 300,000 cardholders in the last year, and that portfolio is only growing,” he told HotCopper. “What we see is that a lot of Australians are having cryptocurrency, but they want to bring it onshore.”

That’s a key driver behind why Klevo’s card system has been so successful, Mr Gold has explained, and is why they’re pushing further in CY26. “There’s no reason why Australians can’t use bitcoin to buy a house, but right now, the banks won’t accept that – and that’s where we see this niche, this opportunity.”
