Newly listed Daly Resources (ASX:DLY) has unveiled a number of areas to follow-up with early results from a range of exploration work at the Huckitta fluorite project in the Northern Territory.

A recently recommenced geological mapping and sampling program has identified multiple additional vein structures beyond the previously known fluorite occurrences.

Executive chairman, Mike Edwards, said that the company has elected to fast-track laboratory analysis of selected samples due to the encouraging early field observations.

“The early fieldwork at Huckitta following listing has been very useful in improving our understanding of the project area. The team has completed mapping, rock-chip sampling and trial soil sampling lines, and we now have selected samples in the laboratory for analysis,” Mr Edwards said.

“With the airborne magnetic and radiometric survey also completed, we’re looking forward to integrating the results as they become available and using that information to guide the next phase of exploration.”

Mr Edwards noted that historical fluorite exploration was largely confined to previously reported occurrences.

However, geological mapping completed to date has identified additional areas for follow-up beyond the known occurrences, resulting in an expansion of the priority area for ongoing field assessment.

“These observations have improved Daly’s understanding of the project area and will assist in refining future exploration planning, subject to laboratory assay results.”

In conjunction with the mapping and sampling of outcropping veins, limited trial soil sampling lines have been completed north of the known fluorite occurrences to assess whether soil geochemistry may assist in detecting potential extensions of the vein system beneath thin cover.

Soil samples have been submitted for laboratory analysis, with the results expected to guide the next phase of exploration.

Earlier this month Daly announced it had been awarded $150,000 under round 19 of the NT government’s Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations Program for its Broughton project.

Broughton is located approximately 600km southeast of Darwin in the northern McArthur Basin, within the broader Carpentaria Zinc Belt. The funding will support a regional airborne electromagnetic (VTEM) survey across priority copper-zinc target areas within granted exploration licences EL32992 and EL32993, with the survey currently scheduled to commence in Q3 2026.

The planned survey will cover approximately 2,018 line km at 400m line spacing across two priority survey blocks. The survey will provide Daly with its first modern airborne electromagnetic dataset over the priority target corridors at Broughton.

DLY was steady at 20.0¢ with a Mkt cap of $18.2M prior to markets opening.
