The ASX-listed explorer said recent reverse circulation drilling at its Kangaroo Hills Lithium Project successfully extended the Big Red and Potoroo pegmatite systems, with both remaining open for further growth.

At Big Red, drilling confirmed consistent mineralisation over a 500-metre strike length, while step-out drilling intersected additional spodumene-bearing pegmatites north of previous drilling. Better results included 18 metres at 1.03% lithium oxide from 103 metres and 12 metres at 1.05% oxide from 147 metres.

Potoroo also continued to grow, with drilling extending mineralisation both north and west. Results included 8 metres at 1.08% lithium oxide from 130 metres and 4 metres at 1.01% lithium oxide from 113 metres.

The company has already begun diamond drilling at Kangaroo Hills to collect metallurgical and geotechnical samples, with a further 3000 metres of RC drilling planned.

Upcoming work will target additional extensions at Big Red and Potoroo as well as first-pass drilling at the nearby Miriam Lithium Project.

Ore is also progressing technical and economic studies to assess potential development pathways, including direct shipped ore exports or domestic ore sales, while also investigating ore sorting opportunities.

On the gold side of the explorer’s portfolio, drilling continued to expand the Forrest prospect, where the emerging gold system Ore is focusing on now extends for around one kilometre along strike and to approximately 250 metres vertical depth. The standout result from Phase 4 drilling was 25 metres at 2.82 grams per tonne gold from 170 metres, including five metres at 11.22g/t gold.

Diamond drilling confirmed gold mineralisation is hosted within strongly altered mafic rocks associated with the regional Miriam Shear Zone, while geophysical surveys identified additional structures beyond the current drilling footprint that could support further resource growth.

Ore also commenced a 15,000m regional AC drilling program across several priority gold targets, including Burbanks East, Jungle, Forrest North, Burbanks Monarch, Goroke and Canyon. Assays are expected in the coming weeks.

The company expanded its Coolgardie landholding during the quarter through new licence acquisitions and option agreements, increasing its tenure to more than 80 square kilometres and adding several historical gold prospects for future exploration.

Managing director Nick Rathjen said the quarter marked a significant step forward across both commodities. He said improving lithium market conditions had prompted the company to accelerate work at Kangaroo Hills while continuing to build momentum across its growing gold portfolio.

Ore finished the June quarter with $6.8M in cash and no debt, positioning it to continue its planned exploration and development activities through the second half CY26.
