Welcome to HotCopper Highlights, where we take a look at the stocks that got investors talking in the week that was. In Week 39, the most viewed stocks included PLS Group, Paradigm Biopharmaceuticals and American Tungsten & Antimony, while Meeka Metals, Great Boulder Resources and Ionic Rare Earths generated some of the biggest discussion on the HotCopper forums.

PLS Group (ASX: PLS) remained firmly on investors’ radars as lithium continued to dominate the resources conversation. PLS recently reported record FY26 production and sales at Pilgangoora, with the company also outlining FY27 production guidance of 1.03 million to 1.10 million tonnes of spodumene concentrate.

The company’s latest quarterly update on September 23 kept the focus on Pilgangoora and its operating performance as investors weigh improving lithium market conditions against ongoing commodity price volatility.

Paradigm Biopharmaceuticals (ASX: PAR) was another heavily viewed name after a major clinical update this week. Paradigm announced on September 23 that the interim efficacy result from its Phase 3 trial of Zilosul for knee osteoarthritis did not reach the pre-specified threshold required for the study to continue. Paradigm has requested a voluntary suspension while it assesses the financial and operational implications and discusses its funding arrangements with Obsidian.

It now expects to provide a further update addressing those issues by September 28.

American Tungsten & Antimony (ASX: AT4) also attracted plenty of views as it moved from development towards physical production. AT4 announced this week that it had produced an antimony ingot at its Del Sol refinery in Nevada, following the restart campaign launched earlier in the month.

The company says the work is intended to demonstrate a US mine to metal pathway, with the material to support product qualification discussions with potential offtakers, US government agencies and defence companies.

Moving to the most discussed stocks, Meeka Metals (ASX: MEK) was one of the biggest talking points on the forums, with investors digesting a run of updates around its growing gold production and resource base.

The company released its annual mineral resource and reserve statement earlier this month, alongside an updated Mt Holland gold mineral resource. That followed the Murchison processing plant reaching nameplate throughput of 600,000 tonnes per annum earlier this month.

Great Boulder Resources (ASX: GBR) was another closely watched name, with the company’s Peak Hill project and exploration program continuing to drive discussion.

The company completed its acquisition of Peak Hill earlier this year and has been progressing exploration across the project, while its broader gold portfolio continues to attract attention following its capital raising and exploration updates. Great Boulder entered a trading halt on September 25 pending an ASX query and further information, adding another point of interest for shareholders as the company awaits assay results.

And Ionic Rare Earths continued to generate discussion around its push into rare earth magnet recycling and refining. The company recently signed a term sheet with US Strategic Metals for a proposed joint venture to develop magnet recycling facilities in Missouri. The proposed development forms part of Ionic’s broader strategy to establish rare earth supply chains outside China.

The combination of the proposed US recycling project, rare earth supply-chain developments and the company’s broader commercialisation plans has kept IXR firmly in the HotCopper conversation.
