Aerometrex (AMX) has been awarded four projects under the Queensland Government’s Spatial Imagery Subscription Program (SISP).

The SISP is managed by the Department of Resources and the contracts have a total value of $1.1 million plus GST.

Aerometrex is a geospatial technology company that specialises in aerial imagery subscription services, project aerial imagery, photogrammetry, light detection and ranging (LiDAR), 3D modelling and data analytics.

The ASX-lister has been a long-time provider of the Queensland Government’s aerial surveying programs for both imagery and LiDAR — meaning it is well-placed to deliver on the latest projects.

“We are pleased to continue our partnership with the Queensland Government, having first commenced work with the Department in 2009, and we are especially pleased to have been awarded the majority of the SISP contract this year,” Managing Director Mark Deuter said.

The major projects include South East Queensland, Galilee Basin East, North Queensland, and Scenic Rim Towns.

The company will conduct imagery work, LiDAR mapping, and 3D imagery and modelling from next month.

Aerometrex is up 1.25 per cent and shares are trading at $1.01 at market close.
